The Final Episode

After eight years, the project of Militantly Mixed is complete.

In this final episode, I reflect on how a podcast I originally began during one of the lowest periods of my life became a community, a body of work, and one of the great loves of my life. What started as a project to help get me off the couch grew into eight years of conversations with Mixed cousins around the world and the “archive of Mixedness” I once hoped to create.

Retiring the podcast does not mean leaving the Mixed community. The full episode catalog will remain available, the Militantly Mixed website and store will stay open, and I will continue sharing resources and supporting Mixed voices through the Instagram page.

Thank you to every guest, listener, supporter, collaborator, and Mixed cousin who helped make this work possible.
